But Hollywood didn’t quit on her, and instead gave her bigger roles such as Nyota Uhura in Star Trek and Neytiri in Avatar, both launched in 2009. Zaldana was also the femme fatale assassin in the name of Cataleya Restrepo in the action movie Colombiana (2011). She also reprises the role of Gamora and Neytiri in the Guardians of the Galaxy and the upcoming Avatar movies.
