To get you started, here are some suggestions for a good K-Pop choreography:

  • Sunmi’s Gashina

If you’re planning on going stag, you’d probably want to go solo on Sunmi’s Gashina. The song, landing Sunmi at the top of multiple Korean music charts and also leading her to peak on the world digital song sales, as seen on the music video, talks about why her guy (in the MV, let’s be clear here) would want to leave a beautiful girl like her; and honestly, same.

  • Triple H’s 365 FRESH

If you’re going for a sexier vibe and there are exactly three of you in the group, with two guys and a girl (okay, isn’t that too much of a coincidence?) I would recommend Triple H’s 365 FRESH. The song’s really catchy tune, and together with HyunA’s, and Pentagon’s Hui and E’Dawn’s unique voices your group’s basically bound to bring home the gold.

  • BlackPink’s DDU-DU DDU-DU

If you wanna rock the stage in girl power vibes, then YG’s power group, BlackPink’s DDU-DU DDU-DU is just the right song for you. BlackPink’s got more than one power song, songs like Boombayah, Playing With Fire and Whistle, which are all monster hits, but it is their recent monster hit, DDU-DU DDU-DU, that landed them on the pedestal as K-pop’s official queens. Their Choreos don’t disappoint either, with their soft and dynamic movements, you are sure to emerge as K-Pop Dance Cover Battle Royal’s new Kpop cover queens.

  • EXO’s Growl

If you happen to be in a group of 12 guys (again, coincidence), then you should wow the audience with EXO’s Growl. One would think that it would be hard for a group of twelve guys to have their own shining moments in a song that lasts for only three minutes and twenty-eight seconds, but it was made possible in the Growl MV. In one long shot, without any cuts, EXO slayed the choreo, and managed to shine both individually and as a team.  With Growl’s choreo being the perfect combination of grungy, smooth and sharp, would catapult any cover group to the top.
