If you experience a couple of these symptoms then you might need Yoga in your life.

Believe it or not, Yoga is a brilliant cross-training triple-threat that builds strength, flexibility, and core in a low-impact, variable intensity workout…

which means anyone can do it.

Small or big, voluptuous or skinny, Yoga is for everybody! If you are wondering what benefits you can get from Yoga, here you go!

• Increased flexibility
• Improved muscle tone & strength
• Enhanced posture & body awareness
• Stronger core muscles
• Better breath control
• Improved ability to relax when needed
• Lower blood pressure & slower heart rate
• Lower cholesterol & triglycerides

Second advantage of this wonderful exercise is Yoga doesn’t need anything fancy.

So get all your loose and comfortable clothes to allow you to move your body easily. All the stretching entails a full range of motion of your limbs so your clothes must be loose enough to allow that movement, and tight enough to avoid embarrassing situations as you might bend a lot. You don’t want your exercise buddies to see some censored parts, right? LOL!

When I first started Yoga, to be honest, I was intimidated. I started following the Youtube classes of Tara Stiles. You can take a sneak peek at one of her videos for beginners below!

After I have built up my confidence that was when I decided to join a studio. There’s one you can attend called the Happiness Workshop with Laughter Yoga where the yoga exercises are taught to build that inner smile in your soul!

Happiness Workshop with Laughter Yoga is a stress-buster and unique exercise routine, which combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing. Pranayama is the formal practice of controlling the breath. It is the foundation of your yoga practice. It begins with deepening your breathing with the 3-part breath techniques then advances to breathing exercises such as Kapalabhati and the Alternate Nostril Breath.

Practicing pranayama can assist in stable mind, strong source of motivation and willpower and better decisions and control over your body. It is believed to have changed people’s perception of life and has taught many to see the beauty in what they have. And besides, who does not want to loosen up and let out a good laugh while working out? I am sure you’ll enjoy it!

Starting Yoga or any other exercise gives you a better perspective of yourself.

It makes you feel good. Not only does it make you feel good, but it also makes you a better person inside and out.

Before I end, I would like to share with you a quote that I always look back to inspire me to continue searching for the truth and for inner peace.

“All I’m saying is that to liberate the potential of your mind, body and soul, you must first expand your imagination. You see, things are always created twice: first in the workshop of the mind and then, and only then, in reality. I call this process ‘blueprinting’ because anything you create in your outer world began as a simple blueprint in your inner world.” ~ Robin Sharma, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari

Feel your body and own it for it is yours. Your only best friend is yourself and if you don’t try, you’ll be living less than you should be. Don’t wait until it’s too late!

You are beautiful and awesome!
