To familiarize yourself with basic photography and day makeup application, here are some of the lessons from CAVA and HG’s previous class

Choose the Right Foundation

Many people struggle with finding the right shade of foundation. Sales ladies says you should just test foundations at the back of the hand to know if it matches your skin tone. Bad news, ladies! If you really want to know what shade of foundation is best for you, try it on your neck or jaw bones. The skin at the back of your hand is totally different from the skin on your face.

The foundation works on you if you don’t need to retouch every hour. If it toils or cakes within an hour, toss that out!

The Rest of the Face

Choose a nude or pink lipstick to add color to your face. Remember, Day makeup is no-makeup makeup. As much as possible, do not wear loud shades.

Put blush on to balance the look.

Photography

No, it’s not the best background. Best camera/phone isn’t also the solution. Natural lighting is the key to achieving that “ginalingan” look. Add some photo editing skills to that and you’ll probably reach that look you’re aiming.
