Harry Styles’ first-ever solo world tour includes Manila which means Filipino fans can watch it! MMI Live proudly presents Harry Styles live on May 1, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena in support of his self-titled album.

After a large fan demand, Harry has added Manila to his sold-out world tour. He also added 56 new show dates for 2018.  As a matter of fact, September 2017 is the scheduled kick-off of Harry Styles: Live On Tour touring in-depth venues around the world. The newly added dates will begin in March 2018 in Switzerland and will end in Los Angeles, CA in July.

His self-titled debut album on May 12th was featured to the top of the charts worldwide. It topped the Billboard 200 album chart with over 230,000 equivalent album units sold and 193,000 traditional albums sold. Styles’ album has made history as the biggest debut sales week for a U.K. male artist’s first full-length album.

Harry’s album has gained incredible success in the U.S. record at the same time gaining international recognition. The album entered charts at #1 in over 20 countries, including Holland, Belgium and across South East Asia and the Middle East.

Styles in Dunkirk

In case you didn’t know, Harry has starred in the historical action Dunkirk directed by Christopher Nolan. No doubt that he is proving to be much more than an angelic face and an astounding voice. He actually exhibited the same kind of dedication with his membership in One Direction as well as his character to the film. Much like being a member of One Direction, he has worked with a talented crew.

Styles plays Alex, a teenage soldier trying to escape the Northern France.  It’s a tough job escaping out of sinking destroyers and avoiding being shot at by oncoming German soldiers on foot advancing towards the beach. In fact, for a movie with less script, he got an immense part of the spoken lines.

Nolan has actually compared his acting to Heath Ledger’s character The Joker. “The truth is, Harry auditioned for our casting director, he sent the tape along. The casting director rightly pointed out how good it was. We threw him into the mix with many, many other young men and he earned his seat at the table over a series of very hard-fought auditions,” said Nolan at the Business Insider.

Vibing with Corden

Strangely enough, this isn’t the first time we see Harry Styles in an acting stunt. The impersonation of Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger in Saturday Night Live was absolutely loved by the fans. He was also on two episodes on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Here’s one of the episode where Harry Styles and James Corden have a ‘singing problem’

While we wait for more updates, here’s a track off Styles’ forthcoming album, “Sign of Times”. This song is still holding the 10th position in the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart at this point.
