It’s official! Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 4 is on it’s way to cinemas in 2019!
“Toy Story 4” will be a love story with Woody and Bo Peep, and will start where “Toy Story 3” left off; when Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the series’ toy chest of characters are given to a little girl named Bonnie.
The writing team has already assembled.
Disney says the story was made up by Toy Story veterans John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich. Also attached to the project are Celeste and Jesse Forever writing team Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, along with Pixar’s Galyn Susman, who’s producing.
The new adventure will open a new chapter in the lives of Woody; Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Toy Story gang. The story was bought up by director of the original Toy Story and Toy Story 2 movies; John Lasseter; alongside Andrew Stanton; Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich; the storytellers who have been the driving force behind all three Toy Story films.
Are you excited? Because we can’t wait!
We’ve been giddy to continue Woody and Buzz’s adventures with their fellow playthings in shorts and TV specials like Toy Story of TERROR! and the upcoming Toy Story That Time Forgot; but this will mark their first feature film appearance since Toy Story 3 in 2010.
To infinity and beyond!
