A List of the Most Iconic Shark Portrayals in Films

‘Jaws’ is not only the greatest shark movie ever made but also one of the greatest horror movies ever made as well. Despite the vast development of fake-shark technology for films in the future, nothing would be more terrifying than Jaws.

The Shallows

The film enters on a beautiful girl gets stranded in the ocean as she fights for survival battling a shark. As cliche as it may seem, the execution was flawless. Every single piece of Blake Lively’s wardrobe becomes useful in her fight against the horrifying shark!

Deep Blue Sea

In this film, scientists “accidentally” engineer shark brains so that they become smarter and more dangers. It then results to scientists attempting to escape and the sharks attacking people.

Open Water

The film is considered terrifying because of the mere fact it was based on a true story. The premise centers on a couple left to fend themselves in the ocean after the rest of their scuba diving expedition forgot them.

The Reef

After their boat capsizes, a group of friends attempt to survive by swimming through open water to get to the nearest land. Unfortunately, the water is a home to a shark not willing to share his territory.
