About Queer Eye
Queer Eye is a Netflix original series that was released on February 7, 2018. It serves as a reboot of the Bravo series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. The show’s revival features a new Fab Five, consisting of Antoni Porowski, food and wine expert; Tan France, fashion expert; Karamo Brown, culture expert, Jonathan Van Ness, grooming expert; and Bobby Perk, design expert.
The premise of Queer Eye focuses on the stereotypical gay men as experts in matters of: style, fashion, personal grooming, interior design, and culture. Each episode features a team relatively known as the “Fab Five” performing a “makeover” usually for a straight man. The fab five typically give makeovers for men with regard to: revamping wardrobe, redecorating, and advice on grooming, food, and lifestyle.
Queer Eye’s Success
Queer Eye received an approval rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, and an average rating of 7.92/10. The website’s critical consensus reads. “Queer Eye adapts for a different era without losing its style, charm, or sense of fun, proving that the show’s formula remains just as sweetly addictive even after a change in location and a new group of hosts.”

Audiences would be thrilled to know a second season is on the works as it was announced that it would be renewed on March 26. The first season’s cast will be reprising their roles.
On what to expect for the next season, Karamo told Entertainment Tonight, “The thing that we’re most excited [in season two] is the diversity”.
“We now have women that we are making over. We are also helping people in the trans community. We’re very excited about it.”
Jonathan added, “It just gives us a chance to go a little deeper. You got a chance to know the five of us, and the [season two] stories just get a little more into our lives as well. So we’re excited to show a little more of ourselves with everyone. “
The news has only just been confirmed, so there is no trailer yet. But we’re sure the release of the second season’s trailer won’t take long.
As we wait for Queer Eye’s return, the Fab Five have filmed a music video with artist, Betty Who for the show’s theme song “All Things”.
Queer Eye’s second season will be available on Netflix on June 15.
