Josh Futterman is a janitor for a Kronish Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company that specializes on curing sexually transmitted diseases… To him, his life is not going anywhere fast.To let off some steam after a long day at work, he plays video games. Little did he know that video games will change his life in ways he could have never expected.

Josh never knew that a video game could change his life!

One night, he completes the game and attains the highest score on the leaderboards. Suddenly, two warriors from the future appear in his room. Josh recognizes the warriors inside the game he just finished. The warriors inform Josh that the game was a recruitment device. They sent it from the past to find the chosen one. The chosen one will save them from a bleak and terrible future.

Wolf and Tiger, the two warriors from the future, tell Josh the plan. They have to kill Dr. Kronish before he discovers the cure for Herpes as is the cause of the end of the world. In order to do that, they plan on going back in time to kill Doctor Kronish while he is still a baby.

Josh is against that as he believes there is another way to save the world without killing anyone. If Doctor Kronish never contracted herpes, he would have no motivation to find a cure. He convinces the two warriors that his plan will work. They disembark on their journey, returning to the past to cockblock Doctor Kronish whenever they can.

If these people are involved, you better expect a comedic viewing experience.

From the makers of Pineapple Express, This is the End, and Sausage Party comes the time-travel comedy film to parody all other time-travel films that came before it. If you enjoyed the Back to the Future Series, Terminator, and The Last Starfighter, you’ll appreciate all the inspiration Future Man takes from them.

Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver (Sausage Party, This Is the End, Preacher) with Matt Tolmach (Spider-Man, Jumanji, Rock That Body) are the executive producers of the series. The series was written by executive producers Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter (Sausage Party, The Night Before) and Howard Overman, with the teleplay by Shaffir and Hunter. Future Man marks the first half-hour television comedy from Rogen and Goldberg, who directed the pilot from Sony Pictures Television.
